2023-24 Season TENTATIVE Meet Schedule

Please be aware that the competition schedule is fluid and may change throughout the season. Meets will be selected for groups as host clubs confirm their dates and capacity, and will be communicated to parents as soon as possible.

Meets are selected based on swimmers’ skill level and competition readiness. Competitions may have qualification time standards that swimmers must achieve in order to attend.

Swim meet attendance is strongly encouraged, but optional. Families are encouraged to consider attending all available meets, as their family schedule allows. Families are also encouraged to car pool and help each other out to give all of our swimmers as many opportunities to attend meets with their team as possible!

* Families will receive an Email ahead of each competition with all of the details on the event and the deadline to sign up

* Meet sign up is completed via the website - click the link you will receive in the Event email and follow the instructions

* Meet fees will be added to your membership account and included on your monthly invoice (to be paid by the 01st of each month)

C1 & C2 will attend mainly FUNdamentals level competitions, in the Calgary area. Competitions are assigned by Swim Alberta to ensure that all clubs have equal opportunity to participate and in line with capacity restrictions that host clubs may have.

Tentative C1-2 competition dates:

  • October 21 - Halloween Howler FUNdamentals
  • November 04-05 - Jack Frost Invitational (*optional, will compete only Sa/Su)
  • November 18 - Wacky T-Shirt FUNdamentals

  • May 25-26 - Spring Fling FUNdamentals

Note: This level of competition emphasizes fun and skill building, giving swimmers opportunities to test out what they have been working on in practices. Results, placings and awards are NOT a focus. Rather, the goal is to have a positive experience and work towards personal improvements – which could be in the form of trying a new race, implementing new skills such as flip turns, diving off the blocks, or perhaps a personal best time.

C3 will attend a mix of FUNdamentals and Invitational meets in the Calgary area. Swimmers’ competition calendar will be individualized, according to the level of competition that is most appropriate for them.
