About Madisson

Madisson Cobb (July 01, 2002 - July 19, 2025) started her swimming career in High River, then moving to the Foothills Stingrays (Okotoks MAVS). Madisson loved swimming, and was proud to achieve her MQT, allowing her compete at the Provincial level. Not only was Madisson a dedicated swimmer, she was a kind and caring teammate. Following her time in the pool, Madisson moved on to new challenges and accomplishments, including the Ophthalmic Assistant Diploma (SAIT) program and taking great pride in her work in the field. 

Madisson Cobb Memorial Scholarship

Sponsored by Western Financial this annual $500 scholarship is presented by the Cobb family to a member of the Highwood Current Swim Club. Recipient recommendations are made by the Current's Head Coach, based on swimmers' demonstration of the values and passion shared with Madisson. Final selection of the scholarship recipient is made by Madisson's mother, Jackie Cobb, along with a representative from Western Financial.
